Software for Archaeological Research

The Thuringian State Office for Heritage Management and Archaeology in Weimar uses an X-ray system to capture high-resolution images of archaeological finds for further scientific analysis.

The X-ray detector used was originally controlled by software included in the overall system. This software was actually designed for X-ray diagnostics and was rather unsuitable for the intended application. Therefore, the application was to be replaced by an in-house solution based on LabVIEW. We consequently developed a new software solution in 2022 for the relevant part of the device control. The implemented application components replaced insufficiently documented proprietary software parts and enable seamless integration into LabVIEW.

Software for Logistics

Together with the company LeanSped, we developed the transport management system of the same name and continue to expand it jointly.

LeanSped offers freight forwarding, transport and logistics companies comprehensive support, going beyond the classic functions. What makes the software special is that it was developed specifically for practical use and has been tested and optimised by freight forwarders over many years. Thanks to modern telematics interfaces, it simplifies shipment tracking and order entry via a user-friendly web portal. As the software developer, we advise customers, provide support and operations assistance, and implement new features.

Logistics Network Software

Since 2002, we have been developing the EQ-Sped platform together with the freight forwarding network ILN, now sim cargo GmbH. The solution supports the management and execution of less-than-truckload (LTL) transports and connects several hundred partner locations across Europe.

Over more than two decades, the software has continuously evolved and has been adapted to new business requirements, technological developments, and regulatory changes. Today, it forms the digital backbone of the network’s business processes, from order entry and shipment tracking to clearing, invoicing, and the integration of external systems.

This long-standing collaboration exemplifies our commitment not only to developing custom software solutions, but also to continuously improving them together with our customers and adapting them to new requirements over many years.
